"Dear Mrs Sharp, Thank you very much for your letter and for the specimens of E. Nesbit's signature of which I shall select the best. I have seen Berta Ruck's specimens, but they do not seem better than those. I have dealt with all your first batch of corrections, elaving the single mention of Spencer Pryse as Gerald, for I got it from Who's Who. No doubt E.N. called him Fitzgerald for fun..."
