"Dear Sir, I have noted with interest that there is to be a Childrens' Book Week in November, and an exhibition of childrens' books at the Victoria and Albert Museum. I write to inform you that if you require for this display some first editions of the much-loved works of E. Nesbit, illustrated by such artists as H.R. Millar, Spencer Prise[sic], C.E. Brock, etc., I shall doubtless be able to procure them for you from the members of her family and other sources..."
