"Dear Dr. Bland, I am very grateful for the letter I received from you this morning. Mr. Symons has not yet sent me the Rolfe letters. As a matter of fact it is two or three months since he mentioned that he had them and would pass them over to me if I thought that you would raise no objection. I shall certainly forward them to you within twenty-four hours of receiving them. I do hope something will come to light soon about your father's conversion..."
