"Dear Mr. Bland, I am more regretful than I can say for troubling you again with an enquiry, but it is inevitable that in undertaking a work of this kind, one must make one's self a nuisance to everybody who is kind enough to help. I gather that when your mother first used to visit Dymchurch, she took lodgings there, at the Mill House, and other places, and that eventually she rented The Other House and kept it for some years for use when ever she pleased..."
