"Dear Mr Barron, You said you would be kind enough to answer any specific questions I might have to ask in connection with "E.Nesbit." I would not trouble you, in view of your convalescent state, if I could avoid it without great detriment to my book, but as everyone to whom I have applied for information on a certain particular has referred me to you, I can no longer refrain from approaching you a second time. The information I so badly stand in need of is - How did Mrs Bland first come to write for children?..."
