Moore, Doris Langley to Mrs. Cecil Chesterton [Ada Chesterton], 1931-05-08
Scope and Contents
Transcribed copy of the original letter.
"Dear Mrs. Chesterton, It is now some years since I had the pleasure of meeting you two or three times in the company of Beth Tate. Since then I have followed with admiration and interest your wonderful work for homeless women and girls. The raison d'etre of this letter is that I am working on a biography of "E. Nesbit," under an Agreement with Messrs. Ernest Benn, the present publishers of nearly all her works..."
