"Dear Mr. Orage, You will be surprised to hear from this familiar address, and I am surprised and pleased too to have occasion to write to you on the most unexpected of subjects. I am writing a biography of "E. Nesbit," under an Agreement with Ernest Benn who now have the rights of nearly all her books and are doing very well with the works for children. Her son, Dr. John Bland, who is giving me a good deal of help, tells me that you knew his mother and that probably you knew Hubert Bland as well..."
