Nesbit, Edith to Harry Nesbit, 1918-06-12
Scope and Contents
Transcribed copy of the original letter.
Edith mentions that she is glad that "Collis passed his exam." Collis refers to their brother John Collis Nesbit.
"My dearest Harry, I am very glad Collis passed his exam. I hope he will get the appointment that he wants. I wrote to you in February (or was it January) to tell you about my marriage with Mr. Tucker. Did you ever get the letter? I feel peaceful and contented in my new life with him. He is the best man I have ever known, and he has a philosophy of life which makes all things easy to him..."
