Ruck, Berta to Doris Langley Moore, 1931-08-14
Scope and Contents
Second page is a scrap of paper with an address for Col. Ruck in Wales.
"Dear Mrs. Moore - Thank you so much for your letter of July 21 which, owing to forwarding and re-forwarding, has just got to me. To begin with, accept my sympathy about Heinamanns. They are the world's procrastinators, and treated my husband the same way. All is well about the book of poems. In the meantime, do you happen to have E. Nesbitt's[sic] "Incredible Honeymoon." If you have, and are not using it for the present, I shall be so glad if you would be so kind as to lend it to my father whose address I will enclose. The governor of the prison heard that he was in this book and wants to read it..."
