Scope and Contents
Map of Indian Terriroty between Texas and Arkansas; Kansas and Texas. The Oklahoma Panhandle is noted as being part of New Mexico.
Of the northern boundary, 79 miles & 870 feet was surveyed in 1849 by Captain L. Sitgreaves, Topl. Engrs.
120 miles & 792 feet of the Northern Boundary and N. Fork of the Canadian River was surveyed in 1850 by Lt. Woodruff, T. E.
The southern boundary, the Canadian River is laid down from the surveys of Lieuts. Simpson and Abert, Corps of Topl. Engrs.
