Biographical / Historical
Jacob Frank Standiford (1852-1929) was a photographer, and frequently advertised himself as the only licensed photographer in Indian Territory. In 1878, he moved to Muskogee, I.T.; and although he spent some time operating out of Kansas after 1888, he still made images as a traveling photographer. In 1893 he sold the business in Muskogee to Alice Robertson.
