Scope and Contents
Atlas map includes Arkansas railroad lines and stations, roads, post offices, and rivers, and township surveys, county seats, etc. The Indian Territory portion of the map shows several completed and proposed railroad routes in the Eastern part of the state; the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad; the Missouri, Fort Scott & Gulf Railroad; 2 lines of the Atlantic & Pacific Railroad; and a number of forts and other settlements.
