Scope and Contents
Street scene in color. Mme Denan signboard. 18 soldiers in a variety of uniforms; seven private citizens. Pinholes from posting; slightly broken corners. Damage to buildings due to war is visible. The soldiers, though at rest, appear weary. One of the photos taken by William Rider-Rider, the official photographer for the Canadian War Records Office between June 1917 and December 1918.
