Fri. Nov. 15th 1918. Was down to town last evening to K. of C. & got a few envelopes & paper. Got 1 R.T. bulletin & I got a call down for not shaving from Lt. Boykin. We are all sick from the bad water & cold place we are sleeping in. Some of us have cooties. Finished letter to Anna Ericksen & mailed it.

Sat. Nov. 16th 1918. Lieut. Majaiski took 1st platoon to Verdun in A.M. Was to see Doctor Randell in A.M. also & got 5 pills with camphor in them for prevention for diarheoa. At night the boys were searching for cooties.
Sunday Nov. 17th 1918. [Chiffoure] Had black coffee 2 slices of bread prunes, potatoes & bacon. Got pistol bolo carrier 2 pair socks yesterday. Bought 3 francs worth of crackers at Y.M.C.A.
