[Continued from page 61] xmas dinner of a big steak, a pickle a slice of [breadfast], coffee, 2 pieces of pie, apple & pumpkin and we got a John Ruskin cigar, grapes, [Melanchrjma] cigarettes, crakcers & 2 bars of chocalate from the [cornbary] and from the Y. We got a piece of [Polasids] chocolate, broadleaf cigarettes, cigar & chewing gum. Took walk with Miller & McHaron. Sang hymns at 7 p.m. & to bed. Got letter from May.

Thurs. Massigny, 1918 Dec. 26. Breakfast of rice, bacon coffee jam & bread. Lieut. [Mingeskin] lectured all a.m. Dinner of [forning] meat bread & coffee. Schwarz.

Fri. Dec. 27th 1918. Drilled in a.m. got 1 R.T. Bulletin of J.J. Hayes. Song service.

Sat. Dec. 28th 1918. Inspection. Ate no dinner bought 5 pkgs of crackers at Y. & 3 candles no mail. Threw beans [away]. Fri they robbed the bee hive Voorhees [M] etc.
