Scope and Contents
Sunday Apr. 20th 1919. [Is-sur-Tiel] had breakfast & dinner here and wrote many post cards to all. Left on 4.55 P.M. train for [Nice]. Passed [Dijon] Lyons, etc. Stopped at Marseilles in A.M.
Monday April 21st ". Got coffee from Red Cross nurse & sailor and I bought 2 books of postals. Reached Nice at 10 A.M. Ate at Isles of Britain Hotel, saw show at YMCA and took a walk along river and bought about 15 francs of postal cards. Cashed $1.00 money order got 5.80 francs. George & I are at "Y" again writing. Wrote a bushel of cards.
Tues. April 22nd 1919. Had chocolate bread, fig jam & returned for breakfast.
