Scope and Contents

Typed memo.

Culver City: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, February 29, 1960. A typed Inter-Office Communication addressed to Richard Maibaum from Crandall Brown on the subject of Weird Obsession by Winifred Dunn.

The memo states: Story outline (19 pages) for half-hour tv show. From David Samuels Agency to Crandall Brown. In Los Angeles an elderly, eccentric professor named Randall undertakes to transfer his great mind, via hypnotism, into the body of a young man named Eric so that his mind can live on for many years and also in order that he (Randall) can possess Eric's lovely fiancée, who happens to be the professor's ward. The experiment fails, however. Eric retains his own mind and body and the frustrated Professor Randall dies. Another very amateurish confection. No. Very good.
