Biographical / Historical
Laura (Reichenthal) Riding Jackson was born on January 16, 1901. She was an American poet, critic, novelist, essayist and short story writer. She is best known for her poerty. She wrote modernist, Fugitive, feminist, and a postmodern style of writings. She was married twice and her relationship with fellow writer Robert Graves influenced her writings. She died on September 2, 1991.
