Sheet music collection, 1890-1950
Scope and Contents
200 pieces of vintage sheet music dating from the late 19th century to about 1920, includes early Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin, and E. T. Paul numbers, African-American historical and caricature numbers, early telephone and airplane songs and illustrations, and photographs depicting dress and activities of the period performers of the day and scenes of the era.
