William Trevor corrected typescripts, 2000-2009
Scope and Contents
Original ribbon typescripts on blue paper, heavily re-worked and/or revised in ink and pencil, and signed by the author; including, in some cases, photocopies of the ribbon typescript and/or word processed typescripts, either lightly or heavily revised.
Typescripts include: the dramatisation, Sacred Stories; short stories, The Crippled Man, The Children, Cheating at Canasta, Men of Ireland, Faith, An Afternoon, A Perfect Relationship, The Dressmaker's Child, Folie a Deux, Bravado, and The Room; and the novels, The Story of Lucy Gault, and Love and Summer (to be published in Autumn 2009).
The eleven short stories have appeared in collected works such as The Hill Bachelors (2000), The Dressmaker's Child (2005), and Cheating at Canasta (2007).
