17 black/white photographs featuring scenes of the allied victory parade in Paris, August 1944. Images include views of marching American, French and United Kingdom military divisions; armored cars, personnel carriers and howitzers; the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Place de la Concorde; crowds of French civilians; and dignitaries such as Charles de Gaulle and Winston Churchill.

Gift. These images were given to Philbrook Museum as part of the Nettie Wheeler collection by Wheeler's niece Mary Jane Heffington. Philbrook donated the photographs to us as a more appropriate repository.
