Biographical / Historical
Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad "V. S." Naipaul was born on August 17, 1932. He was Trinidadian-British writer of Indo-Trinidadian heritage. He is known for his novels that focused on the legacy of the British Empire's colonialism. In 2001 he won the Nobel Prize for literature. Naipaul died in 2018.
