Features Canada, Indian Tribal areas, natural features. Map also indicates some American states with the western parts of the continent largely unnamed. Plate XIV, G. G. J. and J. Robinson in a 1785 edition of Guthrie's A New Geographical, Historical, and Commercial Grammar.


Handwritten note by J.B. Milam reads "Cherokees in northern North Carolina?" Another says "1798."

Disbound partially hand-colored copper engraving map. Region du Nord-Est No 31. Map features the Haute-Marne region (including the Champagne wine district). Illustrated with cameos of Diderot and Etienne, wild animals, foods and other products of the region. Map has lovely decorated borders that relate to the region, including statistical information, regional products, famous local people, and places of interest

Thought to have been removed from Willem and Joan Blaeu's Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, Vol. 2. This map was one of Blaeu's first atlas maps, appearing in his first Appendix in 1630. On verso is Latin text.

Hand colored copper engraved regional map of the Annandale region of southern lowland Scotland, around the Solway Firth. It is based on Timothy Pont's survey of Scotland by Timothy Pont conducted between 1583 and 1601 and revised by William Gordon for inclusion in Volume 5 of Blaeu's Atlas, beginning in 1654.
