This is a 2 sheet (front and back) undated letter, in ink, notated 'At School' on 'Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas' letterhead, without an envelope. This letter was presumably written before Edward enlisted in the war.

This is a post card, written in ink and pencil with an unreadable date; the front picture is captioned '49. Vierzon Deversoir de l'Yevre.'

This is a card, written in blue and black ink, listing Edward's new address as 'Aviation Section, Signal Corps, Am. Exp. Forces.' Verso reads "The AS.S.E.R.C. stands for Aviation Section Signal Enlisted Reserve Corps--This is my final address until I get my commission--mabey."

This is a 12 page undated letter, in ink, addressed from the First Battery Field Artillery, Camp Funston, Texas; the envelope is labeled 6-29-17.
