Attached to the transcripts for the court decision to ban Slaughterhouse-Five from the Pontiac, Michigan schools is a note on an unstamped and undated postcard from "Ruthie" regarding Ruthie's difficulty in acquiring the copies of the transcripts. On the front of the postcard is a photograph of Casa Mia dining room and pizzeria in Birmingham, Michigan
