Scope and Contents This collection is comprised of twenty photographs ranging in dates from 1866 -1917. Seventeen of the photos were taken during World War I, mostly of U.S. and European soldiers in uniform. The WWI photographs were taken in England, France, and Russia. Scope and Contents This collection documents the time of Charles G. Aldrich and his time in Siberia from 1917-1920. Aldrich was with the American Army/Navy, YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association). The photos document his time in Vladivostok during the Civil War. There are photos of a few other areas, including his time aboard the ship America, etc., but the majority are of Vladivostok.
