"Somewhere in France. Hello Syl old boy. I hope this letter finds you well as I am myself. (They can't kill me.) This was certainly a real Christmas even tho we were a few thousand miles from home...." Written on American YMCA letterhead.
Identification is based on Sylvester Colbert and Charles Ford being Knights of Columbus members in Cambridge, Massachusetts along with Henry P. Walsh, and the enclosed note.
