Biography
Guy William Logsdon was born on May 31, 1934, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Guy and Mattie Marsalas Logsdon. He received his Masters degree in Library Science and his Doctorate of Education from the University of Oklahoma. For his dissertation he wrote the history of the University of Tulsa up to 1970. In 1967, Guy became Director of Libraries at the University of Tulsa. He was working on a second history of the University of Tulsa from 1970 to the present when he passed away on February 5, 2018.

Starting in 1978, the Department of Special Collections at McFarlin Library, the University of Tulsa, has produced a series of booklets and pamphlets under the rubric of Keepsakes. The archive consists of those materials gathered during their production. Consists of graphics, artwork, production layouts, and related materials for Special Collections keepsake publications.
