The Elizabeth Jennings manuscripts consist of 39 notebooks and loose sheets of handwritten working drafts of approximately 2,225 poems, many with handwritten revisions, written between 1973 and 1992. The poems were said to be unpublished at the time of acquisition and cover a wide range of topics including artists, composers, and writers.
