Biography

American five-star general and Field Marshal of the Philippine Army. He was Chief of Staff of the United States Army during the 1930s and played a prominent role in the Pacific theater during World War II.

Portions of the following photographs were originally found sleeved and packed into one small envelope; the remaining photos were found loosely packed into another small white envelope. Both envelopes were laid in between the Leyte Island photos and Leyte (Island)/Tacloban (town) photographs. The Leyte/Tacloban envelope became dislodged from the other photos so it is uncertain which photos specifically belong to which group.
