Content Description From the Item: Six sets of 333 photographs by unidentified persons, most likely relating to the amphibious invasion of Leyte (Oct-Dec 1944), under the command of General Douglas MacArthur. The first set: 37 images, 10 of which are duplicates, of an invasion of an unidentified island, possibly during the invasion of Leyte in 1944. The second set: 10 images taken in Manilla c. 1945.
