Biography
David Lyle Boren is an American university administrator and politician from the state of Oklahoma. He served as the 21st governor of Oklahoma from 1975 to 1979 and three terms in the United States Senate from 1979 to 1994, and as of 2019 is the last Democrat to have served as a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma.
