biographical statement

Tulsa area businessman and collector who owned and operated Shleppey Outdoor Advertising. Later he owned a bookstore in Seattle. He was a lifelong acquirer of things, beginning when he was a child before 1920. His extensive collection of books, artifacts, and papers was bequeathed to the University of Tulsa by the Shleppey family following his death in September 1975.

Illustrated menu cover. Seafood menu. Interior mentions that the restaurant was created by Robert E. Lederer. The murals, light sculptures, wire fish, and table tops were by Richard Koppe. The murals were painted by Martin K. Ziegner.
