Consists of 37 letters between Dickey and colleagues dating from 1957-1971; bibliography of Dickey's works and drafts of his writings including "The First Oil Well" and "One Hundred Years of Oil Geology" as well as the proposed illustrations for each; an interview (in Spanish) between Fernando Guerrero Matheus and Dickey; research and reference materials which include photographs and a blueprint reconstruction of "Old Pumping Power" on the Holtz Bros. Farrell lease in Grand Valley, Pennsylvania, various graphs and charts pertaining to Benjamin Sillman, Jr.'s seep analysis, and unused illustrations.
