Scope and Contents
Army Book 136 used as a flying log, recording in detail pilot training from 13/10/16-5/4/17, then from 13/4/17the log records some 150 operational sorties, with numerous interesting entries in the "remarks" column e.g. 14/5/17 recon. crossed off a Queant & Heudecourt; 15/5/17 Conact [patrol]. Clouds at 1000. Fearfully hot show. Got a bullet through aileron; 31/5/17 Shoot with 232 [Seige Battery RGA]. Successful. AA gun in Prouville; 4/6/17 Shoot & rec. Battery wouldn't fire. Shot at Huns; 6/11/17 Went west.
