From the Series:

The Geoffrey Elborn material is subdivided into writings and correspondence. The writings consist of research and manuscript materials relating to Elborn's, Edith Sitwell. A Biography (1981). This material includes 6 audio cassette tape-recorded interviews with Lorna Andrade, Geoffrey Gorer, Alanah Harper, Alec Guiness, John Lehmann, and Stephen Spender; handwritten, typed, and photocopied typescript drafts in several versions (including 4 manuscript notebooks and a signed typescript of a controversial (libelous) draft); galley and page proofs; and a bound uncorrected proof.

From the Series:

The correspondence consists of 22 handwritten and typed letters and postcards to Elborn from various individuals and institutions, (including Lorna Andrade, Cecil Beaton, Benjamin Britten, Valerie Eliot, Geoffrey Gorer, Graham Greene, Geoffrey Grigson, Alanah Harper, Michael Holroyd, Frank Magro, and Derek Parker), and dates from 1976-1981.
