Folder contains multiple drafts with handwritten editorial markings, as well as a photocopy of the final article as it appeared in Family Planning Perspectives, Vol. 24 No. 4.
The article's earliest title was "The abortion debate: Gestational age vs. developmental age of fetus". In June, one proofreader attempted to change the title to "The semantics of abortion: How old is an 'eight-week-old' fetus?" but this did not seem to stick.
Attached to various drafts are correspondence between Santee and Stanley Henshaw, Jeanette Johnson, and Gloria Roberts.
