General

Cabinet card of a woman and young boy. The woman is wearing a fur or velvet coat and a feathered hat, she has her arm around the boy. The boy, whose sad eyes and apparent inclinations toward his mother resemble a young Marcel Proust, is dressed in knickers, a coat and a large bow tied around his neck. Photograph taken in the studio of Cummings in Butler, MO.
