Be it known to all men by these presents that we, Humphrey, Duke of Buckingham, James Ormond Earl of Wilts, Ralph Lord Crumwell, John Sutton Lord Dudley, John Lord Beauchamp, Thomas Stanley, knight, John Maynwaryng, Knight, William Boerley of Brenncroft, William Laken, Robert Stafford, esquire, Henry Fenyngley, esquire, Thomas Fenley, esquire, and Nicholas Greve, have attorned, constituted, and appointed in our place our beloved in Christ David Ferour and Henry Malpas, as our true and lawful attorneys to delivery for us and in our name to John, Earl of Salop and Elizabeth his wife, full and peaceful seisin of and in the lordships and manors of Blakemere, Whitchurch and Donyngton, otherwise called Dedyngton, with the appurtenances, To have and to hold to the same Earl and Elizabeth according to the form and effect of a certain charter of ours, made to them in that regard; having, and to have, ratified and granted whatsoever our same attorneys shall have done in the premises in our behalf or in our name. In witness whereof we have affixed our seals to this our present letter of attorney. Given the last day of the month of March, the 32nd year of the reign of King Henry the Sixth after the conquest of England.
