Alexandre Hogue papers, 1923-1994

Scope and Contents Artist Alexandre Hogue (1898-1994) was born in Memphis, Missouri and lived in Denton and Dallas, Texas before moving to Tulsa in 1945. He was chair of The University of Tulsa School of Art from 1945 to 1963 but continued teaching at the university until his retirement in 1968. Harriet George Barclay archive, 1921-1986

Barclay was Professor of Botany at the University of Tulsa, teaching part-time at the University of Tulsa between 1929 and 1942, and later assuming a full-time position in 1942. In 1949, she was promoted to Professor of Botany and in 1953 was appointed Chair of the Botany department.
