Biographical / Historical
Margaret Storm Jameson was an English writer, who was born on January 8, 1891in Whitby, Yorkshire. She wrote 45 novels, and served as a critic. She studied at the University of Leeds. She moved to London to attend Kings College where she earned a MA. Her brother was killed in the war. She became poitically involved in women's rights and opposed the war. She died on September 30, 1986.
