"Wallace" WW I-era photographs, 1918-1919
Scope and Contents
Exercise notebook made into a photo ablum. Although the originaly ownership of the exercise note book is in question, the name/initials that appear on verso of many of the photos is Wallace A.S. or WAS. 61 photographic images. Originally mounted in a brown "The Universe; Open to the World" school exercise note book (8-1/4" x 6-7/8"), with lined paper. Photographs are of the 'snapshot' variety. Subjects include soldiers, places, trains, etc. Some appear to be post-war, and most are captioned in ink on the reverse.
