Content Description

This collection consists of photocopies of court documents, other associated documents, and correspondence related to Case No. 90-C-0248 E. This case is a lawsuit filed by the Plaintiffs alleging that the United States Secretary of the Interior established restrictive rules for voting privileges in Osage tribal elections, that the rules are therefore unconstitutional, and that the Defendants' organization and supervision of Osage tribal elections were a denial of equal protection of the laws and in violation of Title II of the Civil Rights Act of 1968.
