Pottawatomie Papers, 1828 and 1882
Isaac McCoy kept a small journal (4 pp.) of a tour with the Pottawatomie and the Ottawas in 1828 from Missouri to Indian Territory. He gives a good description of the area through which they passed.
The second item consists of photostats from the National Archives, Office of Indian Affairs, of a code of laws drafted by the Pottawatomies in 1882 which they desired to adopt.
